U16’s Suffer Defeat

Wednesday 6th April, saw our U16 team take to the field in their second round match V Castlemartyr. This match was played at home on a cold damp night but fortunately the rain stayed away. Castlemartyr where first to score and take the lead, a lead which they never lost. Credit to our girls They fought for every ball but on this occasion had to be second best on the night. Having played the Same opposition last year, we knew this fixture would be a battle however we were minus a number Of girls on the night which contributed to a very tough and competitive match. Our next match is scheduled for 20th April v Watergrasshill (away) this fixture will be confirmed over the coming days and our final match of the league is away to Erin’s Own on 23rd April at 2.00pm. Please be aware that due to bad weather and build-up of matches these dates are subject to change.
