U12 Camogie

On Saturday last 30th July u12s travelled to Ballinlough full of optimism and excitement for their county league final game against Sliabh Rua.

This is the first time a lot of these girls have reached a final. After completing the usual warm up it was down to business.

The girls took to the field full of fight and after 15 minutes there was just a point between the teams.

Our girls took a few knocks in the next few minutes and at half time were chasing a 3 goal lead gained by Sliabh Rua.

This was not to be it for our girls though, as they have all season they took to the field in the second half with their heads held high and never gave up.

On the day Sliabh Rua were the stronger team but our girls can be extremely proud of their county runners up medals, from one to seventeen from the start of the year until now each girl has grown her skill and commitment and all have grown as a team. Onwards and upwards for next year. 

A big thanks to Clodagh, Orla, Michelle and Willy for their help with the team all year.

Summer Blitz

We will hold a Fundraising Summer Blitz on Sunday 21^st August for our Under 6 – 10 age group. For anyone that can help on the day please contact Helen on 086 1701164, your support as always is greatly received.

 Lotto

The Club would also like to invite all members where possible to join the Club’s Lotto. The lotto is a major financial contributor to the club and is a much needed source of income. Tickets are available from committee members or many local business… If you’re not in you can’t win.
