U16C County Hurling League Final this Friday.

U16’s:

Anyone that was there, would have witnessed a fantastic game of hurling when Castlelyons took on Kilta Og in the U16C League Final in Castlelyons in recent weeks. Our fantastic boys will now be taking on a strong Clyda Rovers side in the Rebel Og U16C County Hurling League. Clyda Rovers played Buttevant in the North Cork League Final over the last week and came away with a hard fought win, Clyda Rovers 1-15 Buttevant 1-13. The match will be played on Friday night with a time and venue to be confirmed. We would urge all our supporters to come out and cheer on the boys, in what will be the final game of the season for Castlelyons Juvenile GAA Club.

Coaching the Coaches.

Now that most of the teams are finished playing for the season, it's that time of the year when current coaches and people who would like to become coaches could look to take part in the Rebel Og organised coaching courses that will be run during the off-season. For the future success of the club it is important that our coaches and people involved with the teams continuously develop their coaching skills. The courses are also a good way to meet coaches from other clubs and to discuss and share ways for us to improve how we train and develop our players. There are places available on upcoming courses in early November & December so if you are interested and would like more information please contact any member of the Juvenile committee before November 7^th.
