The Castlelyons Juvenile GAA Committee would like to take this opportunity to wish all our players, families and supporters a very Happy, Peaceful and sport enriched 2016.

PUC FADA.

Unfortunately due to the adverse weather conditions, the 2015 Puc Fada was cancelled. It was with huge regret that this decision was taken but the safety of all participants was our main priority. We are hoping to re-schedule for some time later in the year, we will keep you posted.

New Season.

The 2016 season for all ages will be commencing shortly with training notified by text from each manager. We are recruiting boys of all ages 6-18 so if your son is interested in playing, please contact our juvenile secretary, Lorna Murphy on 086 8205385. Everyone is welcome to attend a training session or two to see if they would like to become involved so don’t be shy – we all started somewhere!!!

Alternatively, please visit the Castlelyons GAA Website where all contact details are available for the 2016 club officers and managers.

Club Lotto.

The Club would like to invite all members where possible to join the Club’s Lotto. The lotto is a major financial contributor to the club and is a much needed source of income. Annual lotto tickets can be purchased from any of the clubs executive members while weekly tickets can be obtained from the many Lotto ticket sellers/businesses in the parish. This Weeks jackpot is a fantastic €5,400.

U9/U10's Training 2016.

U9/10s plan to go back training on Saturday morning 23rd Jan in the Astro Turf in Brides Bridge. Parents will be notified by text from Donal in the coming weeks.

Training has started with pool sessions in Fermoy Pool since Tuesday 5th of January. It begins at 7pm and we will do one session per week under the guidance of an instructor from the staff of the pool. Field sessions will commence once weather permits.

Social Media.

The Juvenile Club has recently set up a new page on Facebook – Castlelyons Juvenile GAA, as we had over 600 friends on the old page, we would ask everyone to give the new page a like. We are now also on Twitter and you can follow us @Castlelyonsjuv. We are hoping to tweet our match results and upcoming events going forward so your support would be greatly appreciated.

Scór Na Paistí.

It's that time of the year again with Scór Na Paistí coming up. Please see details below and if you think your child would be interested in attending, please contact Kieran McGann.
