U6’s – Update;

Our U6’s continue training every week in the Astro Turf and are getting on great. The numbers are small which is very beneficial for the lads involved as it means that training is very hands on and all the boys are progressing very well. We would like to say a big thank you to Ger Sice, Simon Barry and Edwina Condon, who have come on board with helping train the boys. As a club, it’s great to see new parents getting involved and having a hands on role.

U11/U12 – Training Update;

U11/U12 training now taking place on Monday evening from 7.00-8.00 in Leahy’s Field.  Training is also on Saturday mornings, time to be confirmed by text, again in Leahy’s Field.

U14 –Upcoming Match;

Our U14’s take on Carrig na Bhfear this Saturday in Carrig nc Bhfear at 5.30. This is our first football match in the Rebel Og East U14 B Football league this season so all support greatly appreciated.

U16 Update;

Our U16 team played Shamrocks in the second football league match of the season on Sunday last. Finishing with Castlelyons 4-02 to Shamrocks 3-13, the score did not in any way reflect the hard work and determination the lads showed for the entire match. Today was a testament to the weeks of training they have put in and although we didn’t come away with a win, we were delighted with how well we played as a team. We would like to wish Conor Mc Carthy a speedy recovery after he received a shoulder injury during the game. We are looking forward to getting back to training this Sunday. Confirmation of training times and place will be sent by text.

Lotto;

Our next Lotto Draw will take place on Monday 21st, in the Community Centre. You can purchase your ticket at any of the training sessions over the coming week or from the many local businesses and promoters. There are 8no lucky dips of €20 drawn for every week the lotto jackpot isn’t won, so for €2, the return isn’t too bad at all! Thank you to everyone who continually supports our Club Lotto.
