 U9/U10 – Update

At training this Saturday we kick off a new dimension to our training where each boy will receive their very own skills passport so please make sure you are there to get yours.  U11/U12 – Training Update;

Last Thursday our U12 hurlers played Ballyduff in a challenge. While we were tight on numbers this was a good workout and thanks to Ballyduff for hosting it.
Our team on the night was:
Gearoid o Sullivan, William Verling, Mark Cullinane, Leon Shanahan, Marc Callinan, Aaron Fenton, Peter Milward, Jack Cremin and Brian Spillane.
Next up is a football league for the U12s vs Kinsale at home on Wednesday 30th. Training will continue on Saturday s and Mondays, being confirmed by text.

 U16 - Match Update;

Having lost our last game we were keen to get back to winning ways against Kilta Og on Easter Monday.  Our cause was not helped by the absence of a few players through injury and illness, in fact we only had eleven players at the throw in for this twelve a side League game.  However, a very committed performance from the players we had, had us in front 2-6 to 0-1 at half time. As it is mandatory to field the full complement for the start of the second half, frantic phone calls were made so that we did not have to forfeit a game we looked well capable of winning. Luckily a latecomer arrived on the stroke of half time. The lads continued their good form in the second half to run out comfortable winners on a scoreline of 4-10 to 0-2. Our next two games are hurling v Brian Dillons at the tank field Mayfield on the 4th of April at 7pm and Whites Cross in Castlelyons on the 12th of April also at 7pm.

 Lotto;

Our next Lotto Draw will take place on Monday 4th, in the Abbey Bar. You can purchase your ticket at any of the training sessions over the coming week or from the many local businesses and promoters, Fitzgerald Butchers Fermoy, The Abbey Bar Castlelyons, Glanbia & Centra Castlelyons and Murphys Vehicle Repairs to name a few. There are 8no lucky dips of €20 drawn for every week the lotto jackpot isn’t won, so for €2, the return isn’t too bad at all! Thank you to everyone who continually supports our Club Lotto.
