Castlelyons Juvenile Notes 30.05.2018 2018-05-09 15:12:00

Last weekend saw our U12 and U14 Footballers in action. In a game of the proverbial two halves our U12s V table toppers Kiltha Og were outplayed in the first half, only to come out in the second half transformed and owned the ball. However after a great effort the boys couldn't overhaul the first half deficit but gave Kiltha Og a right fright. The U12s continue their Football campaign V Fr O'Neils this coming Friday 11th May. Our U14 Footballers participated in the Football Feile in Ballyhooly but following games against Clyda Rovers and Erins Own failed to come out of their group. Our U14s have had a very stop /start season so far this year but get back on track with a hurling league V Ballycastle Gaels on Monday 14th May at home. This coming weekend also sees the resumption of the Go Games for our U8 up-to U11 boys. Also look out for details on the upcoming Castlelyons Cul Camp, register early as places are limited.

Finally well done and thank you to Sean Cotter and Brendan Hallihan for representing the juvenile club in the recent Community Council Golf Classic. Unfortunately the score card is gone missing so results can not be published
