Briefing Notes on Safe Return to Training.


Training - Adult & Juvenile & Camogie Team Groups (below)

NO ACCESS - GAA buildings / Meeting Rooms / Indoor Facilities

One exception: Sanitized Toilet facility

Entry to Grounds Restrictions: Players & Management only.

Underage Groups

  • Must be comprised in accordance with the ratios in Code of Behaviour.
  • Parental or guardian sign off will be required for underage participation. 

Cohort Group 1 (u14 and below)

Training 

  • Small groups - 10 players X coaches in a designated area.
  • Non-contact training under social distancing guidelines.
  • Players must maintain Govt advised distance 2m apart.

Cohort Group 2 (15-18) 

Training 

  • Small groups - 10 players X 2 coaches - designated area.
  • Non-contact training under social distancing guidelines
  • Players Must maintain Govt advised distance 2m apart.

Adult Groups.

Cohort Group 3 

Training.

  • 10 players X 2 coaches in a designated area of the pitch.
  • Non-contact training under social distancing guidelines
  • Players must maintain Govt advised distance 2m apart.
  • Type of training envisaged is Running, Aerobic training.

  • By Players or parents/guardians in the case of underage players & personnel
  • Understand risks of participation.
  • Participation is on a voluntary basis.
  • Participants may opt-out at the start.
  • Or at any time they so wish.

Responsibility 

  • Club Members work together to ensure compliance.
  • The Club Executive’will ensure a Covid Supervisor is assigned to each team.
  • The Club Executive ensure the full cooperation of participating officials, coaches, mentors, players, medical and sports science and allied support personnel and parents.
  • Teams return to training and playing in a staged manner.
  • Each Covid Supervisor responsible for ensuring COVID-19 protocols, including collation of temperature check, health questionnaires, cleaning and sanitising of facilities are followed.
  • Each Covid Supervisor responsible for ensuring only necessary personnel are admitted to the venue for a training session or game.
  • Each Team Manager will be responsible for overseeing player and support personnel compliance 
  • Each Mentor and Player shall ensure compliance with COVID-19 guidelines within their own area and for health and safety of their colleagues.
  • Parents/Guardians will be responsible for dropping underage players to, and collecting underage players from, training sessions or games in Phases 3 and 4 and until further notice.

Agreement, Care & Timely Use of all pitches by Club Officers & Managers and then use Bookapitch on Website.
