U16 Hurlers - Mighty win over Sarsfields.

Castlelyons 2 - 11

Sarsfields     1 - 7

On Wednesday night last Castlelyons U16 hurlers made our way to Dungourney to take on Sarsfields in the opening round of the Premier 2 Championship.  We started out strong and got some great scores.  We knew this was going to be a hard fought game from the off and it sure was.  We played as a team supporting each other and this showed in the end result.  All the lads performed well on the night.  It was a well deserved win for a hard working bunch of lads who have put in a lot of work and effort into training over the last few months.

We would also like to thank all the Castlelyons supporters who turned up on the night.  There support and encouragement was very much appreciated by all the lads.

Keith O Leary missed the U16 game through injuryOur next outing is the 2nd Round of the U16 Hurling Championship v St. Finbarrs on the 14th July time and venue yet to be set and your support again would be much appreciated.
