Castlelyons Juvenile AGM - Friday November 11th 2016-11-09 08:53:00

Castlelyons Juvenile GAA This Friday.

We look forward to seeing you all on Friday November 11th at 8pm in the Community Centre Bar for the Juvenile club AGM. We would ask all parents, old and new, to come along on the night especially if you would be interested in taking on a committee role or getting involved with coaching any of our wonderful teams. Remember it’s thanks to our members that our club is the great success that it is. Refreshments will be provided, so a great excuse to get out of a Friday evening.

Coaching the Coaches.

It's that time of the year when current coaches and people who would like to become coaches could look to take part in the Rebel Og organised coaching courses that will be run during the off-season. For the future success of the club it is important that our coaches and people involved with the teams continuously develop their coaching skills. The courses are also a good way to meet coaches from other clubs and to discuss and share ways for us to improve how we train and develop our players. There are places available on upcoming courses in early November & December so if you are interested and would like more information please contact any member of the Juvenile committee.

We are always seeking new players from five years upwards and of course all those who have played with other clubs and are now living in the area, are more than welcome to join. People who never played GAA are also encouraged to become involved, perhaps your skill lies in IT or catering, fundraising or flag making. Perhaps, you might like to help with the coaching or training sessions. If you could give an hour a week or a month to Castlelyons Juvenile GAA, your help would be greatly received. In the next few weeks, the club will be back to its full momentum with training of all underage groups ongoing on a weekly basis. If you would like to get involved, please contact any member of the committee. With over 120 juvenile members, there is always something to be done.
